The Valencia Grand Prix started today Friday at the same track as the previous week, the Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
The riders of the Moto2 category have once again demonstrated how committed the category is and at the end of the first day, 24 of the 29 riders that make the grid are in less than a second.
Both Garzó and Baldassarri managed to complete a good performance, especially in morning training, since in the afternoon the rear tyre did not work well for both riders. The feelings are positive and they are ready to fight for the front positions again. Garzó finished in a very good seventh position, with a best time of 1:35.048, just over a tenth of the fastest time and Baldassarri, tenth, with a time of 1:35.076.
Héctor Garzó, 7th, 1:35.048 (+0.193)
"Happy with the first day. In the morning it went quite well and we tried a different setup than the previous weekend and we liked it quite a bit. In the afternoon we had no luck with the rear tire, but I think we are ready. for tomorrow and we will try to lower the time."

"Good feelings in the morning, confirming the work done the week before. With more grip on the track we were able to ride faster, getting closer to the fastest times. In the afternoon we worked on the rhythm and we are happy. Happy with this tenth. position and stay focused the same tomorrow. "
