Saturday of qualiyfing at MotorLand Aragón and the FlexBox HP 40 continues with its tireless work with its two riders.
In the morning, Héctor Garzó qualified again for Q2 directly with the thirteenth fastest time and that made him optimistic for the pole fight. A problem with the choice of tires prevented him from pressing as hard as he would have liked and finally he set the fifteenth best time. A position from which you will go in search of a new top 10.
Difficult day for his teammate, Lorenzo Baldassarri. The Italian with the FlexBox HP 40 has not achieved a good time in timed practice and will start from twenty-first place. Despite this, Baldassarri is optimistic for the race in order to achieve another good comeback like that of the previous grand prix.
Héctor Garzó, 15th, 1:52.751 (+1.100)
"In the morning it went quite well and we were able to go straight into Q2. In the afternoon we weren't very lucky with the tire and we weren't able to set the lap we wanted. We started not too far behind, from fifteenth place we can come back well. and be in the top 10. Thanks again to the team and looking forward to tomorrow's race."
Lorenzo Baldassarri, 21st, 1:53.083 (+0.453)*
"Today was a bad day. The problem is still the rear grip, but we have solved the problem with the front tire. Now it is a matter of continuing to work together with the team to solve it. Tomorrow we have to go back, but as always , we will go out for all."
