The MotoGP World Championship does not stop and faces a new racing weekend at the MotorLand Circuit, in Aragon.
The first contact was positive for the FlexBox HP 40 riders. In the morning, Garzó quickly showed his speed and qualified in a good eighth position. In the afternoon he continued to improve his own record but not his position, and he ended the day in a good thirteenth position, with a time of 1:53.517, which helps him to qualify for Q2 directly.
Good feelings also for Lorenzo Baldassarri. Sito Pons's pupil started the day well, finishing the first free practice in twelfth position. In the afternoon, problems with his Kalex slowed his progression and he was unable to improve his chronometer, but the FlexBox HP 40 rider is optimistic for tomorrow. He finishes in twenty-third position with a best time of 1:54.186.
Héctor Garzó, 13th, 1: 53.517 (+0.769)
"First day in Aragon with good feelings. A shame about the crash at the end, because we were slowing down the time with new tires but nothing happens. We continue working for tomorrow as we will surely find something else. To continue concentrating and leave everything ready for the race"
Lorenzo Baldassarri, 23rd, 1: 54.186 (+1.438)
"I want FP3 to start now because in FP2 we had a problem and the feeling in the morning was good, so I am very confident in tomorrow thinking about qualifying well on the grid and also preparing the race pace."
